The UNI 10349-1 provides, at national level, the conventional climatic data to be used for the determination of energy and hygrothermal performance of buildings, included the relevant technical systems for space heating and cooling. The standard specifies also calculation methods for:
- splitting global solar irradiance into the direct and diffuse parts;
- determining the solar irradiation on a surface of defined inclination and orientation.
